We take care of everything from the in-home blood draw to an in-depth review of your results. Our panels cover 100+ biomarkers, and every result is reviewed by a licensed provider.
How an in-home blood draw works
- Choose a panel. Pick a panel below, or text us and we will help you choose.
- Your nurse comes to you. Lab appointments run Monday through Thursday. Morning draws are preferred, and many panels are best drawn while fasting. Follow the prep instructions you receive with your booking.
- The draw. Only Registered Nurses perform Modwella lab draws. It takes a few minutes and feels like any blood draw: a quick pinch, then done.
- Shipping. Your nurse packages your samples for safe, secure transport to a reference lab such as LabCorp.
- Your results call. A licensed provider calls you to walk through your results, suggest next steps, and answer your questions.

Why labs come first
How you feel matters. Lab data adds the other half of the picture. Standard checkups often use a narrow panel built to catch acute illness. A comprehensive panel can include markers like a full thyroid panel, ferritin, and vitamin B12 that a basic checkup may leave out.
Your provider uses your results to guide care. That might mean an iron infusion, a hormone plan, a change in routine, or a referral back to your primary care doctor. Labs from Modwella do not replace your primary care doctor. Share your results with them.
How often to get blood work
For healthy adults with no known medical issues, routine blood work once or twice a year is a practical rhythm. It builds a baseline and makes slow changes easier to spot. If you are on a hormone, weight-loss, or iron program, your provider may ask for follow-up labs on a set schedule.

In-home lab testing vs. at-home test kits
A mail-in kit asks you to collect your own sample with a finger prick. Modwella's mobile blood draw is a standard venous draw done by a nurse, shipped to a reference lab, and reviewed with you by a provider. You get a person to ask questions, not just a PDF.
