What does the training cost?
The neurotoxin course is $2,000. It includes one full day of lecture, then 4-5 hours of hands-on injecting with live models, and certifies you in beginner and advanced upper- and lower-face neurotoxin injections. A day of online training and videos follows. If you keep injecting for Modwella, in-person refresher courses are free.
What if I'm already certified in neurotoxin injections?
You don't need our course. Show proof of upper- and lower-face neurotoxin certification that included hands-on injecting.
I'm only upper-face certified. Is that okay?
Yes. For safety, you inject only the areas you have hands-on training in. We offer a discounted rate on our course if you want to add lower-face certification.
Where are courses held?
Mostly at our corporate office in Lehi, Utah, so everyone gets the same training and plenty of hands-on practice. Refresher courses are usually held in each state.
How much do you pay?
Pay is commission based and uncapped, with bonuses when you hit targets. Our injectors average about $90-$150 per appointment, and $500 or more at group events.
Is this a W2 or 1099 position?
1099. We don't withhold taxes, and we recommend starting your own LLC so you can write off work expenses and travel.
Is malpractice insurance included?
Yes. Every Modwella contractor is covered by our company-wide malpractice policy.
How do I get product and equipment?
We provide everything you need to start, including product shipped straight to you.
What EMR do you use?
An EMR built for mobile cosmetic appointments. You document treatments, compare before and after photos, message clients, and bring our aesthetic medical directors into an appointment for oversight.
Can I grow with Modwella?
Yes. Grow into leadership, or add services such as microneedling, chemical peels, IV therapy, lab draws, hormone management and medical weight loss.
Who should apply?
Registered nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants with an active license. Prerequisites apply.
