Sun, surf and staying hydrated
San Diego’s mild weather keeps people outside all year. Surfing, beach volleyball, long bike rides along the coast and hikes in the backcountry all pull water out of you. East County and the inland valleys get much hotter than the coast in summer.
A Hydrate drip gives you plain fluids fast. A Recovery drip adds nutrients for sore, tired muscles. Endurance athletes training for races book before and after long sessions.
Conventions, hotels and visitors
The San Diego Convention Center hosts large events through the year, and downtown hotels fill up. Long days on your feet and late dinners leave many attendees worn out. A nurse can come to your hotel room in the Gaslamp, on the bay or up the coast. Our hotel IV therapy page explains room visits.
Visitors on vacation book too. If a stomach bug, a bad night or jet lag knocks you down, a Gut Bug or Revive (Myers) drip at your hotel saves a trip to urgent care for minor issues.
Weddings and celebrations
San Diego is a popular wedding destination, from beach ceremonies to North County wineries. Bridal parties often book drips the morning of, or the morning after. Group & Save pricing makes it easier to include everyone, and aesthetic injections can be added a few weeks ahead.
NAD+ in San Diego
NAD+ therapy is one of our most-asked-about services here. Modwella offers NAD+ by IV infusion, subcutaneous shot or intramuscular injection. An IV takes two to four hours because it runs slowly, so most clients book it at home. A provider reviews your history first.
Everything else we offer
San Diego clients also book in-home lab draws, iron infusions, medical weight loss, and men’s and women’s hormone replacement. Biotech and tech teams in Sorrento Valley and downtown can book on-site corporate office wellness days.
Military families and racing season
San Diego has one of the largest military communities in the country. Families juggle deployments, moves and shift schedules, and clinic hours rarely line up. A nurse can come to your home on your schedule when someone in the house needs a Hydrate or Immunity drip.
Summer racing season in Del Mar and fair season bring sunny afternoons, crowds and late nights. Visitors staying in North County hotels book drips the next morning. Coastal neighborhoods from Oceanside to Coronado are all within San Diego County.
Planning a Balboa Park outing, a Padres doubleheader or a long day at the zoo with the kids? Hydrate well beforehand, wear a hat, and if the afternoon sun still gets the better of you, text us from the car on the way home.
Booking tip for San Diego: beach neighborhoods can be tight on parking, especially on summer weekends. Add a parking note or driveway spot when you book. Hotel guests in the Gaslamp should include their room number so the nurse can head straight up.
