About Our Stem Cell Therapy
At Modwella, we’re proud to offer placental cord blood–derived stem cell therapy as authorized by Utah State Law. Our goal is to help support your body’s natural recovery processes through high-quality, ethically sourced biologics — never embryonic and always processed under rigorous safety and quality standards.
These cells are derived from donated placental cord blood, not from embryos, and are designed to support the body’s natural repair mechanisms by promoting communication between cells.
This therapy does not regrow or regenerate tissue or organs and is not FDA-approved for the treatment of any disease. It is considered investigational under Utah law.

How It Works
Placental cord blood stem cells release growth factors and cytokines packaged in exosomes. When introduced into the body, these biologic signals may help promote the following physiological responses:
Decrease Inflammation
Clear Out Cellular Debris & Scar Tissue
Enhance Cellular Repair & Renewal
Promote Angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation)

FAQs About Stem Cell Therapy
Yes, Utah State Legislature passed SB199 in 2024 which gives licensed healthcare providers the ability to administer stem cells in the State of Utah.
Stem cells release growth factors and cytokines (highly specialized messengers) that interact with the cells throughout your entire body to aid in reduced inflammation, clearing cellular debris, enhancing cellular growth and stimulating blood vessel growth.
Our stem cells are from donated placental cord blood. They are donated and processed right here in Utah, using the highest quality standards and screening processes.
Available stem cell therapies are IV, and/or joint injections.* Our providers will help you to determine which route will be most beneficial for you and then coordinate with your nurse to get your therapy scheduled.
The stem cells that Modwella offers are third party tested for communicable diseases, are ethically donated from highly screened first-time Utah moms, and are never cultured or replicated (quality over quantity) with the added benefit of receiving them in the comfort of your home or office.*
*IV stem cell infusions can be done as a mobile service however joint injections must be done in our treatment room in Lehi
How is it administered?
Modwella offers both stem cell and exosome products, available via IV, IM, or IA administration. All options can be combined in one treatment (minimum 2 mL, maximum 6 mL). Your Modwella provider and nurse will review all options, dosage, and suitability during your consultation.
IV Infusion (IV)
Includes a Revive IV for added benefits. May be performed in a mobile setting.

Intra-articular Injection (IA)
Performed in a Modwella treatment room by a trained provider only.

How Cosmetic Injections Work
Cosmetic injections are a non-surgical method to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and enhance facial features. The process involves injecting a small amount of neuromodulator, such as XEOMIN® or JEUVEAU®, directly into the facial muscles. These FDA-approved injections temporarily block nerve signals to the muscles, reducing their activity and smoothing out the skin.
Pricing: We charge per unit. The number of units needed can vary depending on the treatment area and desired results:
-
Forehead lines: Typically requires 10-20 units
-
Crows feet: Around 12-24 units
-
Frown lines: Approximately 10-25 units
Frequency: Botox treatments are generally recommended every 3-4 months to maintain results, depending on individual factors like muscle strength and metabolism.

I absolutely loved getting my first Modwella IV. I have received IVs in an office before but getting it in my own home was a game changer. It was so easy and quick to set up the appointment. Sammy was so knowledgeable and made the experience great .

Amazing service. I was so nauseous I could barely walk. A wonderful nurse, Ciara, came to my home and gave me an IV along with anti-nausea medication. Amazing deal compared to going to the ER.
